Compy decided to give ol' Nathan some headaches last week. But after a new hard drive and the loss of over 3000 photos, this guy is back.

And now that all is fixed, this guy doesn't need to hang around anymore.

That is me, not my dad.

The day before my compu died, I went to one of the funnest shows of my life. Actually it was the funnest. I used a word that doesn't exist twice in two sentences. Melissa would be proud of me, because I got complimented on my dancing from a total stranger. I guess that puts me in the same elite club as Luke, Mark and Melissa now. But when the knees start to wiggle, you have to go with it. I don't care what all the critics say about the newer Rapture album, I think it rules. I know, no DFA production, losing their edge, all that crap, but it gets better every time I listen to it. So here are some photos I took, in between shredding the floor.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this show, even the crowd was way more fun than any of the other shows I have been to out here.

You know how girls sometimes get all dressed up for no reason? I do it too. As a side note, if Joey is rocking this face mask while snowboarding this year, he is totally jacking my deal.

She can crawl now.

So there you all are, an update.

love Nathan.

Two weeks, oh well, I have been busy. I am still in love with school, and for the first time in my life I am a straight A student. 94% average. I have to brag, because this love of learning is new and exciting to me. My mom was out here for a week. Our parents love us, so they visit a lot. Well let's just get into these photos. Forgive me, but I have been shooting very infrequently.

MSTRKRFT was here. It was a bit of a let down. If you are going to be playing a DJ set, please advertise it as that. That being said, I danced pretty hard. I know that only a few people will believe that last sentence.

An average night in the abode.

Not stoked on what she just got filled with.

I made a PhotoShop composition, and this photo, and this note played a big roll.

I went to Lady Sovereign on Friday night. The opening band was severely out of place. They were called Young Love, and if you take all of the many bad parts of Panic at the Disco! and BoyKillBoy (I still haven't found many good parts of either band) you will get Young Love. I predict that they will be big with the 14-17 year old girls, so if you fit that description, their album is dropping on January 30. I took no photos of them. After they were done, a new record label out of Vancouver (Equilibrium) put on a bit of a show. I always forget how absurd hip hop shows can be, there was a lot of braggadocio going down, but these guys and gals were actually fairly skilled and entertaining. The height of this was when Dream Sequence (comprised of turntablist Phonograph and a girl on violin) went bonkers for a few songs. I think this type of music could get old quick, but it is pretty rad (Anthony, I think you would really like them). I did take some pictures of them, they were well worth taking my camera out of my pocket. However, I hate the way flash photos at concerts look, so if you don't like my blurry show shots, too bad.

Up next was The S.O.V. I think that she is great. She could blow up bigger than Snoop and I wouldn't care. She is smaller than I expected, and super bratty. Those two attributes combined with a baggy black tee and side-pony made her look like a twelve year old b-girl from '91 and she pulls it off perfectly. She was hyped on the crowd and I am happy that I got to see her at this stage of her career, because I can see her getting jaded and spoiled soon, and then the fun will be lost.

One question, why does everyone put their hands in the air at hip-hop shows?

Happy parents, non-plussed child.

These two love each other a lot.

Time for me to put my opinion out there. I think that now that the American version of The Office has had time to come into its own, it has surpassed its sensai. I can't believe how funny it is. A big thank you definitely goes to those Brits for the original, for from their originality brilliance has evolved.

Also I finally saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Erin bought a pirate copy in Thailand, but it would screw with my Compu. So years later, I finally have witnessed it. Now I know why people sing its praises so often.

Love Nathan
