Two days, three posts. I am losing it.

I was out on my cycle today and I found a dream. Since I have no friends who skateboard out here, I guess I will have to lonesome dove this spot. Matt, if you come out in October and buy me some food I will show you where it is.

Science World has this really interesting show going on right now. Some German dude found a way to perfectly preserve the human body, so there are a bunch of actual bodies preserved in different poses and states of skinlessness. I am pretty excited about this. Some friends and I are going to check it out late October (Sarah you are invited too). Anyways, apparently skinless, lifeless, plasticized dudes love to get all shreddy too.

The remainder of my bike ride today took me all over East Van. Up and down residential streets and then to the Industrial section. I love industrial areas. Like the one in Winnipeg over by the Vineyard Church. One of my favorite days working at the Edge was "scrap metal recycling day." We went to the sweetest/scuzziest scrap metal joint and just watched how much metal the big magnet could pick up, and we made $120 doing it. Well Vancouver has a super sweet industrial area, which has an added bonus, the Ocean. I like watching the docks at the harbour and wondering what is in all of those huge crates and where they coming from and going to.

However, with all of this amazing industry comes signs like this. It sort of pulls me in both directions.

My Dad is coming in to town tonight. He is here for three days for meetings and seeing his beautiful children and wonderful grandchild. I didn't know what time he was going to get here, so I went and "wasted" some time at the beach. If there is something that is never a waste of time, it is sitting on the beach.

When in Vancouver...

Oh yeah, I am even more all up in this piece, check me out

I got suckered in to the MySpace craze, but it is working out pretty well.
