This weekend was boss to the max. My pops was out here from late Wednesday night until Saturday afternoon. We had a great tim hanging out, riding bikes and checking stuff out. It feels like back before I became a teenager, because at that point I became too cool for ol' pops, and wanted to do stuff on my own. Now I love hanging out with him again. teenagers don't know what is up. He is also an immaculate house guest.

Saturday night was the Junior Boys show. I have never gone to a show on my own before. I think I will do it more often. It is sweet just hanging out watching people interact and seeing the show with out friends distracting you (although going with the homies is fun too). I guess I just learned that shows can be completely different experiences depending on the crew you are with, actually I am sure I knew that already.

The Ensemble opened up. She is as cute as a button.

Junior Boys.

I was out bombing hills on my pinky after church on Sunday and I came across this view. I love British Columbia. Well at least the places in BC that I have been, but I am sure that I love the entire province. I just need to discover what the rest has to offer.

Skateboarding rules. Not just the act of skateboarding, but the whole scene of skateboarding. I went to "Rising Son" (Christian Hosoi documentary) on Sunday night, and I was feeling a little lonely. Sometimes I just get that way. Well anyway, I guess I forgot that I was going to be in a big group of skateboarders. Pretty much as soon as I got there I got a big man sized hug from behind, and it all went uphill from there. Thank you skateboarding for hooking me up with friends all over the place. It is always cool to run into old friends that feel like you never left them. No pictures, but the movie ruled, alot. If you care about shredding at all, you should try to peep this picture, if you like stories, you should also see it. Oh yeah, don't get into meth.

One of my favourite weekly duties is refilling my fruit bowl. I go to this sweet little market that sells fruit at nearly half the price of Safeway. After filling up my bag, I get a sweet little hill shred back home. There is nothing like dodging cars and throwing little power slides knowing that if you eat crap your fruit will get all bruised up. Also I found 'baby' bananas, they aren't plantains, they are just mini bananas. They aren't as good as regular sized bananas and they cost three times as much, but dang they are cute.

I recently learned that I enjoy Xiu Xiu, I used to think I hated it.

I got some new shelves.

My first class is tonight.

I am wearing my shoes in the house.

I have 16 friends on MySpace.

Love Nathan

Bombing hills on bikes, and beautiful views. It does look to me like your live is pretty exciting. Glad to see you're feelin' the vancouver scene.
