School's in.

I am really stoked on school. It has only recently begun, and a lot of the first quarter classes are really elementary, but it is fun. I love relearning foundational stuff, and it is really cool to see how different teachers have completely different styles (of art) and how that comes through in their teaching. I think you could take foundational drawing classes for the rest of your life, and as long as they are all taught by different teachers you will learn something new everytime. This may be just the rant of some first time art school student who never takes his rose coloured lenses out, but that is who I am.

This is what a classroom should look like.

My first adventure with ceramic tiles. I still love pears.

This also became a tile.

November is big for me.
  • Lady Sovereign
  • and
  • The Rapture
  • are playing here. Lady Sovereign is my Joanna Newsom and ever since I gave The Rapture a second chance, they have melted my mind. Go ahead and say they are biting The Joy Division, they are. However they threw some serious dance into the mix, and that makes me smile and flip out. Flip out in that way that great music makes you just stop and be amazed.

    Love Nathan
